I pre-ordered Twinkie Chan's book "Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies," to make a couple of scarves for my niece, but, then my neighbor saw them and asked if I could make some for her to give out as Christmas gifts to her nieces as well. Six weeks later I was done. The Pizza Scarf is for me, and the first thing I have crocheted for myself since I started 3 years ago. All the yarn I used was Red Heart Super Saver Solids. To soften it up, I used a steam iron set on the lowest steam setting and while keeping the iron moving steamed the scarves *before* I added any embellishments. This was the first time I had tried it, but I will do this from now on, the scarves were so soft afterward.
