My son LOVES Super Mario Bros. I went through his drawers and found this old Mario tee that doesn't fit him anymore. His room is currently Mario theme (the curtains, sheets, and posters), so what better way to add to his room by making a pillow to throw on his bed! :D Its no-sew because my sewing skills are limited to just 2 hand stitches... LOL Also, it only took 45 minutes to do, a pretty quick project. Plus you can have the child help stuff the pillow, gives them something to do. *This is my first tutorial/how-to, so please feel free to comment if there are any errors.*

What's needed: old shirt, hot glue or fabric glue, tape measure, crayon or fabric chalk/marker, scissors and poly fill or fabric scraps (not shown).
Measure the size of your pillow and mark it. I made it 13x13 inches. When gluing it together you will have about 1/4"-1/2" border or trim around the pillow. So it will be roughly about 12x12 after stuffing.
I'm very anal about things moving when cutting, so I pinned both sides together. Now cut it out! :D You want to make sure you cut off the collar and sleeves. If you want to keep the t-shirt shape, close the collar and bottom and stuff through the sleeves. ;)
Glue it together. Make sure you do not glue too close to the edge, then the glue oozes out. :P
Make sure to leave a 3-4 inch opening on the bottom so you can stick your hand in to stuff.
Stuff it like a Thanksgiving turkey! LOL Make it as fluffy or flat as your child wants.
Viola! Pillow done! If the edges do not look right then trim them. You can add decorative trim to your pillow if you like. Then...
Priceless!! A happy kid or kid at heart... :) That's my son w/ the finished pillow.
