Styling Tips: 1. Any color Sharpie's could do - be creative and let it reflect your personal style!
Styling Tips: 1. Any color Sharpie's could do - be creative and let it reflect your personal style!
To begin, gather materials. Make sure to have plenty of sharpie's as they did seem to run out quickly :) Any color works, but be creative and make sure this tote reflects YOUR personal style!
Using a black Sharpie, freehand the cheetah print onto your tote. You could use a stencil (which can be found in most craft stores) but we used a picture for reference and did it freehand.
If you want to freehand but aren't confident in your drawing skills, practice on a piece of paper first before you begin working on the tote. Outline the entire bag in the cheetah print and once that is completed, go back in and color in the spots!
Once you've finished sketching, go over the black spots with a silver sharpie. It doesn't have to be perfect, freeform shapes work fine :)
Randomly, using the silver Sharpie, draw small shapes around the larger black shapes to create the Cheetah print look.
Once the entire bag is colored, plug in your glue gun and randomly place sequins on cheetah spots. Add as many as you'd like depending on how glam you want your bag to be - we only added a few. Glue on the sequins carefully.
And now...a D.I.Y. Chic bag that all your friends will be asking you to make for them!!!
