This was one of the first projects I did on my own. I hand sketched this original idea on muslin and used stem and split stitches (I had just learned them). The "patch" was used on the side of a canvas purse I made later. hooters...lol!!

Needle Scissors Embroidery Floss colors of your choice Fabric i used muslin Fabric Pen (s)or plain No. 2 pencil for sketching Embroidery Hoop optional, very helpful Embroidery Hoop
