would it work on shoes that are already hard, not sneakers? I have a pair of boots I wanna do this too.. but if it doesnt work i dont want to wreck them

try doing this with acrylic gel medium, it is flexible and if you only use one layer of paper it should work

i might have to try it, i have some shoes that smell like a cow's rear already...
