First I needed a piece of paper and for my first shot out I thought I'd use some recycled newspaper paper. This page with a photo of barbed wire was very cool.
I trimmed the page down to just the photo.
Fold over the width you want your bag to be.
Then fold the opposite side over so it overlaps, in this case about 1/4 of an inch but depending on the size of your bag it could be more or less.
Glue the wide side over the short side.
Valley fold the two small sides.
Fold one of the bottom corners up to get a rough idea how wide the bottom of your bag will be and then fold the bottom of the bag up about 1/4 of an inch past this point to get the bottom fold of the bag.
Then fold the bottom of the bag like you fold the side of a present. Glue the triangle areas and the long flaps. And here you have it: And if you are wondering what the little closure is on top? It is a beer bottle cap pinched and folded in half.
