I got these old Adidas Superstars (see last pic for a "before" view) from a friend who didn't want them anymore, because they were so dirty. First I tried to clean them, I tried nail polish remover, bleach, put them into the washing machine... well, the rubber parts didn't get clean. Then I decided to dye them. I used special leather dye of the brand "morello". I covered up the eyelets and the light blue parts with maskind tape, then dyed the leather and the rubber parts with a brush. Those neat colorful laces I got at Claire's for 3,50€. As the light blue didn't match the laces too well I used a pink highlighter pen on them. Afterwards I fixed it with decoupage glue and sprinkled some glitter over it. Voila! :)
