there is no right or wrong way to make a neko hat(cat hat)this is my way how to make one. it will take a 2 hour or 3 hours to do this just need time oh and u can use foam or thick felt or cotton or lift over fabric to put into the ears i use foam oh and sorry for my spelling i tried to spell each word as right as i can lol sorry

u want to find the measure your head( circumference of head) and u want to find the height of it to
this is the pattern i use to make mine i know there r other way on making it but i like this way more.u r going to cut 2 out of ur fabric. the red line is the height of the hat and the blue line is the part where ur head go in. when u find the measure of ur head u want it to be half mind red line= 4 and blue line=10.5
there r 2 different type of style of ears it can be fold it or not
u want to fin a place where u can put the ears at this is where u going to be using alot of sewing pins and u want to be careful at because u can putting it on ur head to find where the ears r going to be and after u find the place where the ear is going u want to sew on the blue line.
after the u want to take thread And needle and then u want to sew the top part and then put the thread witch would make a cool efferent and after that u want to take it to the sewing machine to keep the hat to look like that
now u want to make a band for the hat it can be 2" or 3" for the band u want to 2x because the band is going to be folded and sew it on and ur done and if u want a inner lining u want to cut out 2 half circle and sew thing together and sew the band the hat and the inner lining together and there u go ur done
