Few days ago I saw one belt buckle inspired with this (Endstand) logo, and decided to make a big pendant for my new "screw" necklace.
Few days ago I saw one belt buckle inspired with this (Endstand) logo, and decided to make a big pendant for my new "screw" necklace.
Here you can see what do you need: - kitchen towels - acrylic paint in black and white - scalpel - glue for paper and wood - scissors - paint brushes - rubber rope - screws instead of beads - acrylic clear top coat (I used clear nail polish) - pattern for pendant printed on paper - water spray (this is water in old deodorant bottle) - scissors - fimo clay
Cut the pattern from the paper.
Roll out the fimo clay, let it be about 2mm thick. Put the pattern on it, and cut it around with scalpel. Don't forget to make the holes for chain (or rubber rope, or rope, as you wish). Dry it in the oven (you have the instructions on the package of fimo clay).
Paint the back side with black acrylic paint (or don't, as you wish).
Apply the paper pattern on the pendant. You probably mentioned that now I have another pattern, well, if you don't have laser jet printer, don't wet the pattern before applying (I did that and the ink went crazy :)) If you do, you can wet it and apply it that way, it's quite easier. Put it on the kitchen towel and spray it with water before applying. Apply glue on pendant, stick the pattern on it, and finish with one coat of glue. It is white when it's wet, but it'll be clear when it dries. Don't forget to make holes again, this time on the paper (you can use toothpick). Paint the edges with black (or don't) and finish with one or two coats of clear acrylic top coat.
It's time to add a rubber rope. Cut the desired length and insert it in holes.
Back side.
Add beads (or screws in my case). I don't know is it the right word for that, but you know, the other part of screw ;). I used 70 pieces.
Make a knot. Cut the rest if you have to. And you're done!
