Someone on here asked me to make a tutorial on how I make my books so cool looking. So I thought while working on my own clow book I thought I'd make that tutorial. The book I used is hand made, and isn't complete. So I used my unused mini sketchbook to show what the final product looks like. For this project don't do it if the book has a leather cover, I will turn out terrible if you do. And I wouldn't recommend using paint either. All rights go to me and the wonders of masking tape.

First You draw it out,(sorry if you can't see it to well)
Then Get your book.(I was working on my own little project, I wanted to make something like the Clow from Sakura Cardcaptor)
To give it a 3d effect, You put cardboard on the book and tape it down after cuting out whatever effect you wanted of course.
Then you Cover the cover with tape and if you need to wrap it to where its inside tape over that to prevent peeling
then draw out your design. in pencil
Then Color, and it you make a mistake in marker, wait til the ink drys and then put tape over your mistake. once you are done coloring wait at least a day for the ink to dry
Basicly get creative, add some Glitter or fake gemstones. Add whatever you want
