This is a jacket I made for a school project. The feathers and ribbons on the sleeves were inspired by a scene in the Marie Antoinette movie that came out in 2005. The blazer is made of a lightweight overdyed denim fabric. I made covered buttons with the denim, and hand dyed the feathers to match the ribbon myself.

You will need

1 Button Pattern Fabric Scissors Fabric Dye 6 Feathers 1 m Thin, Satin Ribbon 2 yd Fabric 3 yd Fusible Interfacing Thread Invisible Thread (for sewing on the feathers)
