This was an absolutely fun - and challenging - project for me since I decided to make it as a smaller version that fits snugly in my palm. That meant that each square had to be much smaller (1cm by 1cm) and had to be individually stitched for each of the three-coloured layers (bright red, deep red and black border), which took a while of planning but ended up fine, still. I am very glad as to how it turned out, although I shall be calling it my patchwork or 'Frankenstein' heart since the stitches have ended up looking more stretched than intended. Thank you Zan for the amazing inspiration to try this out. :)
