This is a good way to make traditional meatloaf less boring. I love vegetables and lots of flavor, so I tried this and it turned out quite well. It might be even better topped with cheese instead of ketchup.

You Will Need (6 things)
- 1 lbs Ground Beef
- Bread Crumbs
- Spices
- 1 Egg
- Mushroom(s)
- 1 Tomatoes
Steps (7 steps, 70 minutes)
-
1
First, make a sauce of ketchup, spicy mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
-
2
Then dice a tomato and add it to the sauce.
-

Next, knead a raw egg, bread crumbs, and your choice of spices into the ground beef in a large bowl. For spices, I used salt, pepper, cajun seasoning, garlic salt, and red pepper flakes.
I didn't have bread crumbs, so I just toasted a hot dog bun and crumbled it in. Improvisation! -

Add the sauce and tomatoes to the mixture, along with the mushrooms, and shape into a loaf in a lightly greased baking pan. Top with any extra veggies.
-
5
I also like to add more ketchup to keep it moist on top.

6
Then you just bake in a 350 degree oven for one hour...

and you're done! I served it with mac'n'cheese and beans. Yum!
