I love corset designs, from vintage and classy to dark sexy glamour. Personally I love the more gothic side of corsets, I love the sexy fabric and patterns and oodles of lace embelishments. So being a larger lady and finding no nice corsets at all I thought what the heck and make my own! I made my own pattern and this is the idea of what I would like :) and will be making it either this week or next.

This is the front of my corset. It will be made from a nice lush black velvet, trimmed on the top and bottom with black lace detailed with black beads hand sewn. Along where the hook and eyes are at the front is a smaller black lace, just enough to look sexy. The side pannels just under the bust are two black lace floral appliques, also decorated with black beads and possibly hints of red to tie in with the red tie up at the back.
At the back, a nice rich red velvet trim frames the back pannel and also has matching red ribbon. The back will have roughly 12 silver D-rings and remain permenantly tied (as it opens from front).
