NOTE: For more details and more photos, please visit my website/blog. (Link to your right through the 'please check out my website' box!) I absolutely adore the Monster High doll brand, and even collect them! This is the first time I've ever 'redesigned' one! I've recently started reading the Game of Thrones book series, (haven't gotten around to watching all the tv episodes yet), and I knew there was a character who is ESSENTIALLY a "dragon princess", so I used her as my inspiration..HOWEVER.... I think my doll ended up being MUCH, MUCH COOLER!!!! Starting with the green dragon girl from the dragon/werewolf Create-a-Monster kit, I changed her eye color to a deep sapphire blue, her green eyeshadow, scaly skin, and fins to a smoky silver, made her a crown out of wire and beads, a hand drawn shield with a blue dragon sigil out of a styrofoam plate, hand sewed her dress from an old blouse sleeve, her cloak from a scrap piece of navy blue organza , and accessorized her with a sword ring I was gifted, (which is actually too heavy for her to hold, hence the unsightly scotch tape...) I'm thrilled with how she turned out!
