I am moving into a some apartments on campus this coming fall and I wanted to make a lamp that would match my new room colors. I had chosen purple, black, and white and I went to work making this lamp. Its fun and super easy! Though the photos don't really show the purple very well.
I am moving into a some apartments on campus this coming fall and I wanted to make a lamp that would match my new room colors. I had chosen purple, black, and white and I went to work making this lamp. Its fun and super easy! Though the photos don't really show the purple very well.
Start with all the stuff you need, I used lace, jewels, scissors, a hot glue gun (not shown) and a lamp shade (Not shown) (I also show no sew fabric glue, but I found out it doesn't work well, so I used the hot glue gun ^__^)
Get your plain lamp shade and turn on your hot glue gun.
Use the glue gun to place the lace around the top and bottom of the lamp, make sure you place it on the edge and no white is showing I know it looks like it is showing on here but that is actually the other side, the pic didn't take right :-)
Place the jewels on the seams of the lamp, I first placed some bigger ones around the lamp in the same position and then added the smaller ones on top and bottom.
And voila! you are done! I think less is more but feel free to add other decorations :-)
