I had some cheap comics of batman, my daughters fave, cut out pieces to cover as background, mod podged them all around shelf. Cut out main character pieces and sized them accordingly then mod podged them where I wanted. Let dry a day and ready to use.

Self Sticking Furniture Gliders 1 matte, gloss, or semi gloss Mod Podge do not use home made 1 any Paint Brush any
