These Angel Wings are made of recycleds aluminum cans and cardboard. They look awesome on the wall. Disclaimer: Don't do what I did, I did not wear gloves while creating this. It is best if you do. Also, keep on the wall out of reach of children. If you are under 16 do not attempt this. The wings are very sharp with loads of little blades which make up the feathers. Be very careful when making and handling these.

These are made of beer cans. My friend has loads of these.
Cut off the top and bottom of the cans and make two equal sized pieces.
Fold the pieces Corner to corner as best as you can.
Cut out the feather shape in half style so the feather is equal on both sides.
Snip off the bottom of the feather shape to make a flat side at the bottom.
At this step it should look like this.
Cut slightly vertical lines to give the feather texture. Raggety is just fine, they can look a tad tattered. Always cut to a pinky fingers width from the center fold.
The feather should now look like this.
Cut the other side the same way.
It takes some time, that's for sure.
Cut your cardboard (2 pieces) to equal basic wing size. How big or small is up to you.
Hot glue feathers onto the cardboard, layering from the bottom up. Wear your gloves even for this step!
I made mine kinda small because of my lack of patience.
But they turned out amazing anyway.
