Ever have those days when you don't have anything to wear even though you have a closet full of clothes? Here is my solution, steal your mans clothes!
Ever have those days when you don't have anything to wear even though you have a closet full of clothes? Here is my solution, steal your mans clothes!
Start with a pressed Men's shirt, I know this one is wrinkly...but my hubby gave it to me and it's been in a drawer for awhile I used a Men's small and am size extra small I would suggest using a Mens shirt 1 size larger than what you wear. If you want a longer or shorter skirt you could probably use a different size as well.
First fold the shirt so the shirt has a straight line along the top and across the sleeves, hope that makes sense.
Begin buttoning the shirt from the bottom up, Button as high as you can.
Now you should have this.
Begin twisting the sleeves
I tied my sleeves on the side, but you can try whatever variations you want. Double knot the sleeves!
Next unroll the sleeves and roll them up like you would if you were wearing the shirt. I made small rolls to keep my rosettes smaller.
Ta-daa your done! Now go rock your new skirt! I like how the top looks a bit like a bag skirt.
