You are probably familiar with wallets that are impossible to close because they are completely stuffed with cards you actually don't really need to carry with you every day. What if you could take all the redundant cards out of your wallet and keep them in a small pouch that you'd only take with you when you'd go shopping? That is a retorical question I ask myself every time I see people struggling with their monstruous wallets.
For those of you who haven't got a pouch like that yet: here's a tutorial.

You Will Need (4 things)
- Scrap Fabric
- Scrap Leather
- 12 cm Zipper
- 17 cm Lace Trim
Steps (9 steps, 60 minutes)
-
1
These are the materials you'll need. Combine colours and patterns as you like.
-
2
With a cutter and a metal ruler, cut a rectangle of 12x17 cm out off your leather scrap. With fabric scissors, cut rectanglular pieces of your fabric in these sizes: one time 24x17cm and two times 9x17 cm.
-
3
Clip the leather, the lace and the smallest pieces of fabric together. Sew with a zigzag. Use a leather needle.
-
4
Top stich the seams on the outside.
-
5
Pin and sew the biggest piece of fabric onto the zipper.
-
6
Pin the outside piece and the lining, right sides together at the zipper.
-
7
Top stich the seams on the zipper. Do the same thing on the other side.
-
8
Close the Side seams. Leave a small hole to make sure you can still turn it inside out after sewing.
-
9
Turn the pouch inside out. Close the hole by hand. Hand sew the finishing touches Ans you are done!
