I've become more than a little addicted to the Mars Crispy Cakes my favourite coffee shop, Black Medicine in Edinburgh serve and couldn't resist trying to bake a batch myself. The only thing I'm missing it a flat white to wash it down with...

You Will Need (4 things)
- 4 Mars Bar s
- 200 g Rice Krispies
- 200 g Chocolate
- 150 g Butter
Steps (8 steps, 10 minutes)

Start by chopping the Mars Bars into small slices. Place a handful to the side to top your cakes with later.

Place the rest of the Mars Bars in a small sauce pan with the chocolate and butter.

Bring a larger pan of water to the boil and place the small pan inside.

Stir until the butter and chocolate has melted together into gooey goodness.

Add the Rice Krispies to the chocolate and mix together until it's all coated. Line a baking tray with cling film and spoon the mixture in, pressing it down to make it nice and compact.

Top with the remaining slices of Mars Bar and leave to cool and set for several hours.

Cut into squares.
