This is a great Cheesecake to make in advance. The longer you can leave it to set up, the better it is.
This is a great Cheesecake to make in advance. The longer you can leave it to set up, the better it is.
Base... Crush the biscuit. Add the butter & vanilla. Mix together. Press into a tin. Set aside.
Butterscotch sauce... Combine all ingredients in a pan. Gently heat until the sugar has dissolved. (don't boil). Set aside
Chocolate sauce... Combine ingredients in a pan. Gently heat until melted & combined. Set aside.
Filling... Sprinkle the gelatine over the water, one spoon at a time, mix together & leave to cool.
Beat the cream cheese & sugar together until light & fluffy.
Whisk the cream until soft peaks.
Add the gelatine mixture to the cream & combine.
Mix the cream & cream cheese mixtures together.
Fold in the mars bars.
Spoon half the filling into the base.
Pour half the two sauces over the filling & marble it with a knife.
Pour over the remaining filling & top with the remaining sauces. Marble again.
Refrigerate over night. Top with some more chopped mars bars. Serve.
