I am testing the jewelry stamping kit from MakersKit...
It includes everything you need for creating your own stamped jewelry - metal stamping letters, hammer, round pendants, leather cord, ball chain, jump rings and cardboard (for practicing and working on).
To start, tape your pendant to your work surface (I used double-sided tape on the back) and then draw or add another piece of tape to act as a guide when you stamp your letters. It's also helpful to mark the center point so your word/phrase is centered.
Start with the center and work your way toward the sides. When stamping, hold the letter stamp steady and completely straight/upright. Then tap it HARD with the hammer once or twice. Try not to let the stamp move or your impression may come out imperfect. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
PRO TIP: Make sure you're working on a hard surface to protect your work area. Working on a wood table or other softer material may leave dents or impressions.
That's it, you're done! It is such a quick, simple project, you'll want to start stamping everything! The great part about this kit is that it includes everything you need to get started - you can make jewelry, keychains, dog tags and more! You can even emboss paper/cardboard for paper crafting!
Have fun and get stamping! ;)
