Here's what I would love to do if I had the chance to do Gwen Stefani's makeup!
Here's what I would love to do if I had the chance to do Gwen Stefani's makeup!
To start, prep the face with a brightening face primer to help achieve that glowing skin like Gwen. The setting powder will be used after the foundation and concealer is applied.
Take your favorite foundation and apply all over the face for a nice even complexion. I used a damp Beauty Blender to do this step.
Apply concealer to any areas that need a bit more coverage such as under the eyes.
Apply a contour color to the hollows of your cheek bones. Use a dusty rose or warm pink blush and apply to the apples of cheeks.
Apply highlighter on the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow and above the arch of your brows.
Fill and shape your brows with the best color to match your hair. I used a light brown to do mine. I find powder easier to use, more forgiving if it's not perfect and looks more natural.
Use a light shimmering nude color to highlight under the brow bone and the inner corner/tear duct area.
Apply a warm bronze/gold all over the lids. (Free Spirit)
On the center of the lids only, apply a rose gold color. (Boho)
Lightly apply a dark brown/charcoal color to the lower lash line. (Stargazer)
Apply the thin line of black or dark brown eyeliner to the lip lash line, staying as close to the lashes as possible. Then apply natural false lashes, also staying as close to the lash line as possible. Gently curl and apply mascara to match the color of your lashes. (black)
To finish it off, apply a warm brown lip color to the lips- this color is Molasses from Bite Beauty.
