About

As being more organize is one of the things on my list of new years resolutions, I decided to come up with a better system for myself for logging my swaps. I made one for when I had joined and a page for host/hostess of swaps.
I will do my best to explain how I did this with little confusion. lol

You Will Need (4 things)

  • Computer Program
  • Creativity
  • Imagination
  • Printer

Steps (8 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

Okay I use the program Paint.net. Found it online and it is a free download. Its not precise as photoshop but more easier to manage to get the basics done.

I am sure the program you have may work with the same concept.

So first open up your program.

new> go to width and height and enter 8x10 (this should be size of your printer paper)

  2. 2

Chose your text tool and determine what type of font you want to use.

I choose "Dragon Wick" for my pages.

This is where your creative liscence has free rain!

The lay out I did was just my own way of doing it so be my guest to twink it your way.

  3. 3

Next I wanted Cutoutandkeep logo back washed onto my page. I found this image and copy it.

Then went back to my program and chose "paste into new layer"

  4. 4

Then I went to properties(where the pink arrow is pointing) and it brought up my opacity window.

  5. 5

I set it down to 60...play around and extend the shape while its still selected after chosing your opacity.

  6. 6

Play around with the program till you get something similar to this.

Then What i did was open a new page with the same size 8 by 10.

Copy this whole image(dont forget to flatten image, then Control-A to select all, then go back to new image and Paste) Move or shrink the image down to make it fit better on your page)

  7. 7

Add your own borders are flare after adjusting. Then save, and Print out.

  8. 8

After printing out your pages, either use a 3 hole punch and put them in a binder or slip them into those protective plastic sleeves and put those in your notebook binder.

Then stand up and cheer and check those boards for upcoming swaps and get yourself swimming in the Swapping Madness! :D

    Woot!
