This is the first sewing project that I've ever really been happy with the end result. It's just a flirty little skirt for wearing around the house, but I LOVE it. I used a pair of boxer shorts my hubby gave me back when we first moved in together. I knew they would be perfect for this when I saw the how-to yesterday. The tutorial didn't say you had to add the lace or the pocket. I wanted a pocket for my mp3 player, though, and thought the masculine pattern needed to be balanced out with something decidedly feminine. If hubby lets me, I am def going to be cleaning out his underwear drawer and looking for more candidates for this project. I don't think this project is meant to take three hours, it really depends on your skill level. Obviously, I'm a noob. Thanks for looking!
