Was going to make a magazine wastebasket, and got creative!
Fold a page of a magazine in half. (If you are already educated on magazine bowls, make as many as you want your wall hanger to have, and skip to step 7.
Unfold, and fold the outsides into the crease.
Fold the outsides into the crease again, and glue.
Coil up. It may be a little tricky your first time, but it'll get easier. (You'll be making quite a few.) Then tape the end to the coil.
This is what you should wind up with. Repeat steps 1-3 and continue coiling around until desired size. Make as many as you want for the wall hanger.
The finished product. I would make at least three or four more, all different sizes.
OPTIONAL: Cover in modge podge or another varnish or gloss.
Glue all but one together with hot glue. It may take a few times to get it to stay together, but be patient with the glue.
Sorry for no picture on this one... Take your wire hanger and wire cutters and cut about 8-10 inches. Use needle-nose pliers and make one big loop and one small loop on both ends.
Optional cardboard glued onto the large loop of the wire hook. Hot glue onto the circle not glued on the rest. Hot glue it on to the rest.
Hang!
