i have a bunch or old magazines that i dont read anymore, and i've always wanted to try "magazine art" haha. so heres my magazine photo frame. i hope you like it =)
first you take a piece of card board and cut a hole in the middle just big enough to see your desired picture.
then you grab your old magazine and cut a bunch of 3 inch strips.
you then grab your stick (i used a kabob stick) and start rolling your strip or magazine onto it. try to get it as tight as possible, but loose enough to be able to pull the stick out.
as your rolling, dab some glue to help keep the form.
gather all of your rolled magazines
then cut the ends so that they are nice and flat and straight
then place glue onto your cardboard and put your rolled magazine onto it.
then cut off the excess! you can certainly measure the rolled magazine, cut then glue, but this was easier for me. =)
then you just keep going until your done
then taadaahh!! just tape your fav picture to the back and you're set. you can add some string and hang it on your wall, or whatever you like =)
spray some clear top coat to seal it
