I had too much leftover pieces of paper, and I jsut had to do something with them... so here is the result. This is actually my very first tutorial, so feel free to ask if anything is not clear, I'll try my best to explain. :o) I must note that the earrings came out a little heavier than I thought at first, but they are not tooo heavy. :o) *The time I gave was just for one piece of the earring, so it1s actually 40 minutes to make the 2 of it. :o)*

Fist of all, gather your supplies. (see on top, at the left) (I think the magazine was from about 2004, a hungarian teen magazine... XD)
Now here's how to make one piece. Take one square of paper, 2x4 1/2" wide.
Fold in half. Fold out again.
Then fold the two edges to the middle line that you just made, by folding it in half. Then fold in half again, like originally.
Fold in half. Again. Yeah, this is a pretty mechanical thing.
Fold the edges to the middle again, then fold in half like in step 5. Now you will have the final piece. Slide the inside eachother when you have multiple pieces. You can find some tutorials on this site to find how to do that. :o)
You will have to make 2 pieces. The first (on the top in this picture) is made of four little pieces, the other is made of just made of two. You will need 2 of both the pieces in this picture, to make both sides of the earring. Obviously you don't have to stick to this shape, use your fantasy. ;o)
Arrange the pieces you have, and glue them on a piece of paper, cut it around. It doesn't matter what paper you glue it onto, you won't see any side of it later. Now you have the first side of your earring. :o) Now to make the other side, just arrange them on the other side of the piece that you just cut out, glue, and let it dry.
If I have explained the previous steps properly, you should now have a piece like this. So here come the attaching of the hook.
Now, I actually have some language difficulties... XD So,on the side of the earring, there are some "hooks" made from the paper. Find a place where there are 2 of them next to eachother, and stick through your needle with the thread on one of them. *sorry for the blurry picture, I'm not good with this camera*
Put the hook on the thread, and stck the needle back on the other paper hook. *oh gosh, even I get confused by this, I hope the picture tells it, even if it's blurry...*
Now you should have something like this. Tie a knot on the threads, and hide them inside the earring's middle, like on the next picture.
Just stick the needle through the earring. You might have to play with this a little to get it through.
Cut the threads, and voilá, now you have one of your earrings! Repeat to make the pair. :o) Thanks for reading, and again, feel free to ask if something is not clear. ;o)
