A Mad-hatter Inspired Cosplay~

About
Although I'm not a fan of Alice In Wonderland, I decided to do a Mad Hatter inspired cosplay because one of my friend (Alice on the picture) is a huge fan of this book; we are 3 girls cosplaying together, and we all were quite happy with doing a cosplay of Alice in Wonderland.
So, I was the Mad Hatter. I draw my costume after observing the illustration of the book, and not the ones from the Disney Film. I don't pretend to fit with Lewis Carroll book, I just drew a costume I knew I'd enjoy to wear. Let me describe it~
The main piece is a waistcoat-like green dress; the colour is the same as the Mad Hatter jacket. There is two part: a skirt and a jacket with frills. I use tea pot-shaped buttons, because the Mad hatter love tea.
Under, I wear a short-sleeves chequered blouse; I didn't find chequered fabric, so I had to do it myself with black and white fabrich and it was fuc...pretty hard and boring to do; that's why it's not perfect.
To fit with this blouse, I wore chequered legs-warmer, made with painted white fabric- not perfect at all, as you can see.
Let's talk about accessorises! I made two hats: a big one like the Mad Hatter's and a tiny one hidden under. I used this tutorial from Deviant Art: http://chioky.deviantart.com/art/The-Tip-Top-Hat-Tutorial-103451650
I also sew a neck tie, and a added a clock that I reckon fit with Alice world and this cosplay.
Sorry for this big description, but I think explaining is better than just showing you the pictures. Thank you for reading this ☆
