JUST FOR THE RECORD: If you don't have exactly the same types of eyeshadow that I do, that's okay. You can use ANY colors that you have that look similar or suit your coloring better. Don't feel pressured to use expensive makeup, either. The only thing that I used that cost more than was more than 5USD was the primer. Yes, my Urban Decay liners were about 5USD each. They are mini-mini-teeny-tiny.
Put eyeshadow primer ALL over your eyelid, from eyelash line to just under the brow. Let this stuff dry before moving on.
Using a flat eyeshadow brush, slap some hot orange eyeshadow (NYX Africa) all over your lid and BARELY above your crease. Using the same brush, put a bright/matted yellow (NYX yellow) on the inner corner of your eye.
Now take a clean, pointy/domed brush and put the lime green (NYX Kiwi) in your crease, right above the orange. *For some reason my camera does not like this color. Le sad.
Use the same brush and put a teeny bit of the darker green (NYX Mermaid) in the outer corner, slightly angling up toward your temple.
BLEND! Just use a fluffy brush and swipe it in your crease over the green and orange shadows until there aren't any harsh/obvious lines. If the colors start turning muddy/poopy, you've overblended and you'll just have to add a little more of each color to try and fix it.
Take the blue liner (Urban Decay Binge) and line 3/4 of your lower lashline and your waterline, if you're comfortable with that.
Put the dark blue shadow (NYX Atlantic) on the outer edge of the lower lashline and the teal-blue (TKB Trading Capricorn Sea) in the middle.
Put the gold liner (Urban Decay Eldorado) and finish lining your lower lashline, then swipe it over the inner corner. Pat some gold eyeshadow (TKB Trading Mermaids Gold) on top of it, then pat a tiny bit (seriously, a LEETLE BIT) of the gold shadow between your eyebrow and the lime green.
Line your upper lashline with black cream/gel/liquid eyeliner and throw on some black mascara.
If you feel like using the tea leaves, take a tiny bit of oil or vaseline and gently pat it over the outer edge of your eye, over your cheekbone, near your temple, etc.
Rip open a bag of herbal tea (it smells faboo) and start smooshing the leaves into the oil/vaseline. Smoosh until you're happy with the amount of tea on your face. DO NOT GET IT IN YOUR EYES, BECAUSE IT HURTS.
TADAAAA! ***The tea in these photos is darker than in the thumbnails above. I used chamomile tea in the original photos and vanilla-chai tea bags for the tutorial. Also, avoid wearing perfume with this makeup. The tea has a rather strong scent, and it might clash with whatever perfume you normally wear.
