M&M Chocolate Cookie Bars

This is a nice cookie bar.

You can add nuts, or replace the m&ms with another item.

You Will Need (11 things)

  • Crust

  • 3 cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Almond Extract

  • Filling

  • 12 oz Chocolate
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup M&Ms

Steps (9 steps, 60 minutes)

    Heat oven 350/175 degrees.

    Mix flour sugar & baking powder together.

    Mix in butter, vanilla (or almond) extract & eggs.

    Pour 2/3 of mixture into tin.

    Spread out.

    Filling...

    Place cream cheese & chocolate into microwave.

    Heat til melted.

    Stir well.

    Pour over crumb mixture.

    Sprinkle the M&Ms over the top.

    Drop the remaining crumb mix over the top in clumps.

    Bake 40-45 mins.

    Remove from oven.

    Cool & cut.

    Serve.
