Have you been naughty or nice?? Whip up a last-minute lump of coal charm for that troublemaker on your gift list! Or slip this into a stocking for a funny christmas suprise.
You will need a large lump of black and a bit of red polymer clay. Don't worry abotu the proportions too much.
Roll the black clay into an uneven lump. Imperfections will give it a realistic look! Once you achieve that perfectly imperfect look, you're ready to move on to the next step!
Roll the red clay into a thin snake and then carefully flatten it with something round. (I used a plastic roller) You could use a glass, a bottle, or even a pencil.
Wrap the flat snake around the lump as if it was a christmas gift. (Wait- it is! :)
Make a little red ribbon bow for the top.
Bend a headpin into a loop and push it into the lump of coal. Almost done!
Now bake it in your oven for as long as your clay package suggests, and you have a dandy little lump of coal! String it onto a necklace, or just leave it as it is for the cutest lump of coal any troublemaker will ever get! :)
