A way to really tell someone what you think about them

Don't be scared by the 6 hour time allotment, that's just how long it will be from when you start to when you can actually play with it. It sits in the oven cooling for most of that time and the actual "work" portion of this project took me less than 20 minutes.

You Will Need (5 things)
- Exacto Knife
- Tape
- Card Stock
- Sharpie
- Mug
Steps (10 steps, 360 minutes)
-
1
Your main "ingredients".
-
2
Trace your stencil on card stock to spell out whatever you want. I chose a Valentines theme so I went with 'Love'.
-
3
I couldn't resist the urge to be a little naughty, so I made a 'Hate' stencil too.
Cut out, carefully, your stencil.
-
4
Tape your stencil to your cup.
-
5
Go ahead and start filling it in with whatever color of Sharpie you want to use. It does have to be sharpie though,
-
6
Once you're done filling everything in it should look something like this.
-
7
Remove the stencil and tape.
-
8
Place in a cold oven. Then set the oven to 350 F and let cook for 30 minutes. If you pre-heat your oven you run the risk of shattering your cup in the oven due to the temperature difference.
Once the 30 minutes are up turn off your oven but leave the cup in there to cool as the oven cools. I left mine over night, but in theory you wouldn't have to do that.

9
And voila! You're done, and you can enjoy your cute new mug.
This is the finished 'Love' side.

And the finished 'Hate' side.
