About

I once used these napkins for a party and everyone loved them. I first found out about these quirky napkins when I was flicking through an old book - it's surprising what you can find! I love making these napkins in different shapes and sizes. I hope you like this project and please comment too!

You Will Need (1 thing)

  • A Napkin (Any Pattern Or Colour You Fancy!)

Steps (6 steps, 10 minutes)

  1. 1

Choose a napkin of your choice. It can be any size but it always has to be square. If you haven't tried this project before then bigger napkins are easier to work with.

  2. 2

Unfold your napkin and lay it pattern (face) down.

  3. 3

Fold all of the corners into the centre to create a smaller square. If you want you can dab the centre with water to make sure the corners of the triangles stick together.

  4. 4

Repeat step three - which this time makes an even smaller square.

  5. 5

Now turn your napkin over and repeat step three.

  6. 6

Next, hold your index finger and your thumb in the centre of the napkin (one finger each side of the napkin). And pull out the flaps on one side of the napkin to create 'petals'.

I hope you enjoyed my project!
