I found this long, high waisted skirt in the wardrobe, and i really liked the pattern, but not the skirt. So I tried it on as a dress but because it supposed to be on the waist the zipper didn't come on on the chest area. So I saw down the top part of the zipper, and for the final look i put a thick belt around my waist.

I found this long, high waisted skirt in the wardrobe, and i really liked the pattern, but not the skirt. So I tried it on as a dress but because it supposed to be on the waist the zipper didn't come on on the chest area. So I saw down the top part of the zipper, and for the final look i put a thick belt around my waist.

Instructions

1. 

   I tried on the skirt, than pulled up the zipper as much as i could. Then put a pin under the zipper so it didn't zip down :D

2. 

   then i took the skirt off, and folded in the rest of the zipper on the top of the skirt, kinda in a 'v' shape. Then i pinned it and sew it with a straight stitch. Voilá! Your new dress is finished! If you want straps for your dress you can cut some fabric from the bottom or the top for that or you can add silk ribbons as straps.
