You Will Need (3 things)
- 4" Fabric Squares
- 2 Fabric strips
- Sewing Equipment
Steps (6 steps, 720 minutes)
-
1
sew 2" strip to 4" square, cut to length(4") and iron strip away from square.
-
2
Take another strip and place it as picture shows. Sew, cut and iron out as before.
-

And a 3rd time. This is why you use strips, various sizes. Using strips makes it so much easier, just cut to size as you go. Minimal preparation!
-
4
And now you are back to the beginning. You will repeat the process over and over until you get to a size you like.
-
5
You can play with lights and darks to make a spiral effect.

And here is the quilt I made for my mother in law(bff), she loves christmas. Of course, quilts look much better in person. This is a great quilt for a beginner and a good way to use up scrap strips. I finished the quilt with a large border, polar fleece back and hand tied it(I know, its not a quilt unless its quilted). She loved it. Make one today! Start up takes minutes!
