I've always wanted a Cut Out + Keep light-up sign for my craft space, so I finally decided to make one!

You Will Need (7 things)
- Thick frosted Plastic sheet
- LED fairy lights
- Thick black Card
- Paper for template
- Pegboard wall
- Scissors and a knife
- Glue Gun
Steps (8 steps, 180 minutes)

1
I started by making paper templates of my letters. I literally traced the Cut Out + Keep letters off the site using my laptop as a light-box.
Stick them on your wall beforehand to see how your sign is going to look and that you've made them the right size.
-
2
Trace around your paper letters on to thick frosted plastic and cut out.
-
3
Cut strips of paper, so that they're as wide as you'd like the depth of your finished letters. Fold the strips around the plastic and fold at the edges.
-
4
Trace around your strips on to thick black card and score along the folded edges, to create flaps.
-
5
Glue the card together, to form the shape of the letter.
-
6
Glue around the inside edge of the black card and place your frosted plastic letter inside. Hold in place until the glue dries and the plastic is secure.
-
7
Make the rest of your letters. Some are trickier than others but you'll get the hang of it.

You can then hang your letters on the wall and light them up on the inside using LED fairy lights.
We attached ours to a pegboard wall and punched the fairy lights through from behind to hind any untidy cables.
