One other tip regarding the lemon peel (since so many seem to like that especially)...I use <A HREF="http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat3251&PRODID=xprd76942">metal cookie/fondant cutters</A>, which can be hard on your hand pushing them through even a thin piece of lemon peel. I used my wooden rolling pin to press on the cutter (after the first couple left heart-shaped marks on my palm). You could also use a can from the pantry, a pot/pan or a heavy-bottomed glass.
