A simple and easy bracelet made with some left over fabric, beads & a fastener.
Cut a long strip of fabric, approximately 50cm long. You can always trim it later if it is too long! Tie a knotted loop at one end - this is the bracelets catch for fastening. Slip a bead down the open end, and push to the bottom of knotted loop.
After each bead has been put on, tie a knot behind it to keep it in place. Keep adding beads and knots until you get the desired length. When you reach the end, tie a not behind the final bead. Trim the end of the fabric, but make sure it is approximately 3cms longer than the circumference of your wrist.
Fold over the end of the fabric and sew a small hem to stop the bracelet from freying. To add the fastener, I folded the top of the bracelet vertically in order to sew the catch in. You just need to make sure your clasp is wide enough to hook into the fabric loop catch! Apologies - my camera wouldn't focus properly! And now you have your bracelet! I left the frayed edges as part of the design - I like the slightly unfinished look!
