Description

Instructions

  1. Small imgp1385 1

Materials you’ll need for this tutorial: • Leather Straps, 1" wide, 30cm length • Adjustable Bucklet • 2 Metal Hoop • 4 Screw posts • Belt Metal Tips • Pliers • Leather Puncher (not pictured, but I used an eyelet puncher instead) • Scissors (not pictured) • Ruler (not pictured) • Needle & Thread (not pictured)

  2. Small imgp1387 2

    1. Loop one end of the strap through the hoop and mark where you’d like your holes to be.

  3. Small imgp1388 3

    2. Punch your holes. I had to punch my holes separately since there wasn’t enough allowance for me to punch through 2 layers of leather.

  4. Small imgp1390 5

    3. This is how it’ll look when your holes have been punched! Do not worry about the loose threads. You can trim them slightly, but they will be covered up later on.

  5. Small imgp1393 7

    4. Insert the top side of your screw posts.

  6. Small imgp1397 9

    5. Flip it over and screw them tight!

  7. Small imgp1399 11

    6. Measure across the top of your wrist with a 3cm allowance and snip the rest off. Mine came out to 7cm.

  8. Small imgp1401 12

    7. Loop the loose end to the center of your buckle.

  9. Small imgp1406 15

    8. Sew across the indicated dotted line and this will make the first part of your bracelet.

  10. Small imgp1408 16

    9. Cut a second piece of leather strap to approximately 15cm or less, depending on how big your wrist is. You can always work with excess.

  11. Small imgp1409 17

    10. Repeat steps 1 to 5 on one end of the second strap.

  12. Small imgp1410 18

    11. Attach the belt tip to the other end of your second strap.

  13. Small imgp1412 19

    12. You have most of your bracelet done by now. You can choose to add a leather strap or chains to the center here. For this tutorial, we are going with the remaining leather we have left.

  14. Small imgp1414 20

    13. Sew one end of the remaining leather strap to your metal hoop. It is good to put the bracelet around your wrist to estimate how long you’d like your centerpiece to be.

    14. Repeat step 13 with the opposite end and you’re good to go :)
