Lazy Bones Oversized Tee
slobbin around with my lazy bones on show

About
I designed and made this t-shirt for my friend's christmas present.
It was loosely based on Lazy Oaf's t-shirt, but I changed the tshirt style, colours, and way the bones are laid out.
I was pretty pleased with this project, although in real life the paint looks a lil patchy.

You Will Need (5 things)
- Tailors Chalk
- Long Piece Of Cardboard
- Paint Brush
- White T Shirt
- Fabric Paint
Steps (9 steps, 180 minutes)

1
Firstly, you need to buy a tshirt.
I bought a large mens one from Primark, as I wanted it to be a slob tshirt/dress for a size 8-10 girl.
Cut off any tags, and pre wash if your paint instructions say to do so. -
2
Put a large piece of cardboard inside the tshirt to stop the paint from bleeding through to the back. Make sure the tshirt is stretched smoothly over the cardboard, with no wrinkles.
-
3
Make some stencils. I free handed two basic bone shapes, folded them in half, and cut them out to ensure they were symetrical. They should be significantly different in size.
-
4
Lay the stencils on to the fabric, and draw around them. Continue doing this until you're happy with the number of bones and the pattern.
You can use tailors chalk, or a fabric pen in the matching colour to your paint. -
5
Begin painting!
Use a small brush so you have lots of control, and take your time! -

Continue doing this until they're all painted. Take breaks if your hand gets tired.

Leave the paint to dry.
Make sure to keep lifting the t-shirt off the cardboard during the drying process, or it'll stick.
Finally, I folded the sleeves up twice, ironed and sewed them, shortened the tshirt, and cut out the label, trimmed 'Primark' off of it, and sewed it back in.
