I had one last present to wrap but no more wrapping paper! I didn't feel like battling the store crowds for a simple roll of paper so I decided to make my own from items I already had =).

Depending on how much paper you need choose a paper bag. I had a few from my local ALDI store and one was more than enough. Cut down the side and cut the bottom completely off. You should end up with one long sheet.
I also found some left over cardboard from a box onto which I traced my baby's hand. You can use your own hand or if you're really good, free draw it. It doesn't have to be perfect since you only need the silhouette. With a sharpie trace the cardboard hand with the fingers pointing down.
The consistency is up to you. You can trace them closer together or more spaced apart. This is what mine looked like when I was done.
Now to start drawing Santa =). 1. Draw a circle on the end of the thumb.
2. Draw a squiggly line as shown.
3. Draw a line connecting the thumb with the squiggly line.
4. Draw another squiggly line under the first.
5. Now draw a half circle as shown.
6. Finally give Santa a face. I gave him red lips =).
This step is optional. After all the Santas are drawn I color in their hats with a red sharpie.
This step is also optional. Fill in the spaces between the Santas with a decoration. I simply drew swirls with a green sharpie.
Finally all you have to do is wrap!
