I bought a white cake mix, white frosting, red food coloring for the frosting, black gel icing, oreo cookies, and black licorice. I baked the cake in a 6 inch round bowl and baked it for 45 minutes or until done. I let it cool and flipped it upside down on a plate. For the head, I baked a cupcake. I put them together to form the ladybug body. I put in a lot of red food coloring and turned to white frosting red as I could. I frosted the head and the body. Then I used black gel icing to put the eyes, smile and the line down the body. I then divided the cookies and then put them on the body of the body. Finally, I cut the licorice to make the attenaes! Whooola! A ladybug cake!
