From the book Top Of The Cake Pops published by Hardie Grant.
Make 6 girl body pops. Set aside to dry.
Create Goo Goo’s ‘bubble’ outfit by attaching the marshmallows and pearl sprinkles to her body with some candy melts left over from dipping her body. Repeat for the remaining pops and set aside to dry for about 10 minutes.
For the mirror mask, knead the gum tragacanth into the sugarpaste to make it easier to shape. Take a pea-sized amount, fl atten it down and shape it. Use your fi ngers to define the nose and eyes. Repeat until you have six masks.
Brush a small amount of the edible glue over the front of each mask and sprinkle with the glitter. Set aside to dry.
Prepare the yellow candy melts in the plastic bowl according to the instructions on the packet.
Dip Goo Goo’s head into the yellow candy melts to create her hair. You can use a toothpick to spread the candy melts into place. Repeat for the remaining pops and set aside to dry again.
Fix each mirror mask into place with some leftover melted candy melts.
Mix a small amount of the red blossom tint with a few drops of rejuvenator spirit and, with a fi ne brush, paint on lips to all six pops. Set aside to dry completely in a polystyrene block.
