Every Sunday evening or so (pending everyone’s busy schedules), my girlfriends and I like to get together for some crafting fun. It’s a great way to catch up with friends and create some time to get some craft projects off your to-do list.
Every Sunday evening or so (pending everyone’s busy schedules), my girlfriends and I like to get together for some crafting fun. It’s a great way to catch up with friends and create some time to get some craft projects off your to-do list.
Just like planning any other party, first decide on a date, time, and guest list. In addition to your crafty acquaintances, think about people you know that aren’t as crafty who might enjoy a night of DIY with the girls.
Decide on a craft project. Pick something simple that can be completed in an evening. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a craft you’ve done before. Craft Night can be a great trial-and- error learning experience! Send the craft project and materials list to your guest list. Alternatively, if you picked a very inexpensive project, you can opt to provide the materials for your guests.
If you’re hosting your Craft Night around dinner time, select a main dish and ask your guests to provide sides potluck-style.
Have fun! If your Craft Night is a success, see if your guests want to make it a recurring event. You can take turns hosting at different houses.
