Row 3: 5ch, *[3trtr, picot, 3trtr] in 3rd of next 5-ch, 2ch, 1dc in 3rd of next 5-ch, 2ch; rep from * ending [3trtr, picot, 3trtr] in 3rd of last 5-ch, 1trtr in 3rd of 3-ch. Neck edging Join thread to first foundation ch of one piece and (working on other side of ch) work 1dc in each foundation ch. At end of foundation ch, join in 2nd piece and cont to work 1dc in each foundation ch of 2nd piece (this joins both pieces together). Fasten off.
Edging Row 1: Work a row of sps (5ch, 1dc) 16 sps outside and 15 sps inside on each point, omitting 5ch between dc at join of points, turn. Row 2: *5ch, 1dc in 3rd of 5-ch (picot made), 2ch, 1dc in 3rd of 5-ch of Row 1; rep from * around point, ending 1dc in 3rd of 5-ch of last sp of first point. Commence next point with 1dc in 3rd of 5-ch of first sp, rep from * to end of 2nd point, ending with ss in foundation ch. Fasten off.
