My friend Keava treated me to this gorgeous lace when we were at Hobbycraft so to say thanks, and congratulate her and her girlfriend Rosa on their engagement, I decided to make them both necklaces with slightly different styles to match their looks. This one was for Rosa.

You Will Need (9 things)

  • Thick Lace
  • Contrasting thin Lace
  • Fabric Glue
  • Pressed Flowers
  • Clear Cameo
  • Sticky Back Plastic
  • Leather
  • Small amount of jewelry Chain
  • Clasp

Steps (8 steps, 10 minutes)

  1. 1

Cut a length of thick lace almost wide enough to fit your neck.

  2. 2

Cut a contrasting piece of thin length to the same length.

  3. 3

Use fabric glue to stick the thin lace across the middle of the thick lace.

  4. 4

Make a cameo by sticking a circle of clear plastic on to some pressed flowers and then backing it on a piece of leather. I've explained this in a little more detail in my matching necklace tutorial.

  5. 5

Glue the cameo in the middle of your choker.

  6. 6

Attach the jewelry chain to one side of the choker.

  7. 7

Attach the clasp to the other side.

  8. 8

Your choker is ready to wear!
