this tutorial is an example of how one detail can completely change a project. the carefully placed knot creates the illusion that a scarf is tied around your head, when it’s actually just a basic headband.
Tie the fabric around the middle of the headband.
On both sides of the knot, spread out the fabric.
Wrap the fabric around the headband.
Along the inside, sew the fabric together.
Trim the fabric, allowing 1⁄2 in (1.5 cm) extra.
Fold up and secure with a few stitches. trim excess fabric as needed.
