A quick and easy Easter craft project, great for using up leftover yarn and putting a smile on your little one's face. Make a few (why not? they don't take long) and you'll have some ready-made chocolate egg keepers for an Easter egg hunt - add fluffy Easter chicks and clues for extra fun!

Gather your awesome materials!
Cast on 16 stitches. Tip: keep the tension fairly tight to avoid ending up with a baggy bunny!
Start knitting! You’re aiming for a perfect square, this should be about 29 rows.
Like this!
Cast off and leave a 10cm tail.
Using a darning needle thread a new piece of wool through the centre of your square…
...weaving through alternate stitches until you get to the other side.
Pull it through, then thread it diagonally upwards to the middle point at the top.
Now thread it diagonally downwards, back to where you started.
Pop some cotton balls in the middle of your triangle…
…and pull the thread tight so it acts like a drawstring, forming your bunny head and ears.
Thread one end of your drawstring through to the other side, pull tight and knot at the base of the ears. Snip the ends off.
Thread the leftover 10cm tail all the way through the edge of the base…
...then pull tight and tie off. Snip the end of the thread off and admire your handiwork!
Make half a pom pom then trim it until you’re happy with the size and shape.
…and gift your bunny with a cute fluffy tail!
Tear up some cotton balls and line the inside of your bunny, then pop your chocolate egg inside.
Rejoice at your egg-cellent bunny-making skills! If you like you can also add some finishing touches with whatever you have to hand while you eat the rest of the chocolate eggs!
